FEAST
A CONTEMPORARY VISUAL ART AND FOOD JOURNAL

A birthday celebration hosted by Constance Laisne and Laura Mansfield at the Chinese Arts Centre Manchester for artist in residence Antonia Low.



A workshop centered upon the making and sharing of a sandwich lunch devised by Laura Mansfield, Constance Laisne with the advice of food designer Jacopo Sarzi. During the workshop each participant was given an ingredient as well as an array of tools, implements and devices with which to shape, handle and chop their respective foods. Through this sharing of the means, processes and goods of production participants were invited to reflect on the benefits and rewards of collaboration. The Sandwich Workshop was delivered for faculty staff and studentsat Manchester Metropolitan University.




We celebrated the launch of the second edition of FEAST with a screening of Marco Ferreri’s 1973 film La Grand Bouffe in conjunction with Text Book Studio

Part of the curatorial project SEVEN SITES Quarantine Theatre Company offered the public a free lunch in exchange for a conversation. Quarantine are continuing with the conversations on a monthly basis
